Rebekah J Harris – author, speaker, and writer

Born and raised in rural East Tennessee, Rebekah Harris has been writing since she could hold a pencil. The beauty of her home in the Appalachian Mountains, as well as the legends, myths, and folklore of that area, is what inspires the unique plots and settings captured in her young adult and new adult fiction.  In addition to her love of all things fictional, Rebekah is also a freelance writer, specializing in feature writing, editing, and composition. Her blog, nicuvoices.com, offers support for families of premature children. An award-winning reporter and former high school English teacher, Rebekah is currently a freelance writer and adjunct professor. When not writing, reading, or teaching, she can be found at home building block towers for her son to knock down, drinking coffee with her husband, and trying to win the approval of her grouchy calico cat.

  1. I like the new site. I won’t tell Hazel you told the world she’s grouchy…although she would probably not care!… : )

  2. Thanks, Lana! Poor Hazel. Our vet told us that calico cats are the most high strung and hateful of all the breeds. I honestly don’t think she can help her bad attitude!
